Rick A. Orwig, MAI is the principal appraiser for Orwig Valuation Services. He began the profession in 2006 and received his Certified General appraiser license in 2009. In 2014, he qualified as a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute. Although he has appraised a variety of property types to facilitate routine lending transactions, the bulk of his work has consisted of complex assignments related to litigation, public acquisitions, and portfolio management, often during times of extreme economic and market conditions.
